D-day #37 | Zaterdag 8 juni 2024

Het openluchtfestival met live muziek, 50’s cars, bikes, record’s, stands, bier, etcetera. En dat allemaal gratis toegankelijk.

Vanaf 14:00 tot 23:00 kun je buiten en binnen genieten van allerlei rock & roll en rockabilly muziek. Live bands worden afgewisseld met Dj’s en er is weer een gezellige fifties markt met diverse fifties spullen, platenhandelaren, kleding stands en meer. Met consumptiebonnen kun je een drankje of wat te eten kopen.

Na 23:00 gaat het rock ’n roll feest verder tot 03:00 in het rock ’n roll cafe. De DJ’s draaien de lekkerste dansbare muziek om de dansvloer vol te houden.

Barny & the Rhythm Allstars (F)

Barny & the Rhythm All Stars from France, a fiery French rockabilly band, plays the genre's essence with infectious rhythms. They honor Carl & the Rhythm Allstars' legacy while blazing their own trail. They keep the spirit of rockabilly alive and kickin'. Carl's legacy lives on through their soulful performances.

Western Stringbyrds (NL)

!The Western Stringbyrds from The Netherlands. Back by popular demand! Make sure to get ready for some authentic country boogie and rockabilly from the highest order. These cats have pretty much played all over the globe, and it will please your ears to hear them play the tunes as they should be.

44 Shakedown [NL]

44 Shakedown from The Netherlands will bring you boogie with a beat. They will romp and stomp and blow their horns. Wanna jump ‘n jive? Make sure you go and see them as swinging is their thing. 2 Years ago, they were booked to play at D-Day but due to circumstances they had to cancel and now will make sure you will dance a hole in your shoes.

Lou Cifer and The Hellions (D)

is a dynamic Teddy Boy band originating from Germany. Formed in 1995, the band's inception marked the union of talented musicians from various German Rockin' groups. With their roots firmly planted in the rich tradition of Teddy Boy Rock 'n Roll, Lou Cifer and The Hellions bring their own unique flair to the genre, captivating audiences with their infectious energy and authentic sound.

Bad Mess (NL)

Bad Mess from The Netherlands with two original Bopcats members (founders of the Cruise Inn) who will make sure to get the party started. They will bring you covers in their own style but also their own self-penned songs. Fun and music is what’s it all about for these true Rockabilly music lovers.

The Wild Bombers from Belgium (B)

The Wild Bombers from Belgium, a powerhouse quartet on a mission to ignite your love for '50s music. With a passion for rockabilly, boogie, country, blues, and western swing.
